REBECCA TREVITT BBO ATS (L6)- Ballet/Movement
Rebecca has been dancing since she was 4. She was an RAD Scholar for 5 years before going on to study at The Royal Ballet School. At 17 Rebecca joined The Royal Ballet Company dancing at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden and around the world. Having gained her DTLLS level 6 in dance teaching she now works as a freelance teacher in both vocational and educational settings. As well as teaching in Studio 52a Rebecca teaches English National Ballet’s Dance for Parkinson’s programme , and at the British Ballet Organisation.
ANNIE BRECKELL - Yoga
Annie trained at The Royal Ballet School and danced professionally with The Royal Ballet Company until 1992 before going on to perform in Nicholas Hytner’s ‘Carousel’ at The National Theatre. In 1999 she retrained as a yoga teacher in the Scaravelli method under the tutor John Stirk and has worked for the last 13 years in this field. Annie specialises in the management of back pain working alongside athletes and helping people with Parkinsons.
KARL MORGAN- Movement Warriors
Karl Morgan has danced in many productions on stage and screen; he has performed with Sylvie Guillem in Paris, on tour in Cats in the West End and Germany, in Guys ‘n’ Dolls at The National Theatre and he was in the original West End cast of Billy Elliot. Karl has also performed in the films of Cats, and Phantom of the Opera, and in theatrical productions with the National and the Royal Shakespeare Company. Karl’s extensive teaching experience includes working with Millennium Performing Arts, National Youth Theatre Young Offenders’ Programme, Italia Conti and many more.
From Somerset, Ed trained at Elmhurst and then at Rambert School where he graduated in 2010, and also performed alongside Rambert in A Linha Curva by Itzik Galili. He has danced professionally in various freelance projects and is also an experienced teacher. As well as dancing Ed teaches for Balletboyz extensively both Nationally and Internationally.
Born in Sydney, Australia, Hayley started her training through the Royal Academy of Dance (RAD). At the age of 16 Hayley went to the Heinz-Bosl Stiftung Munich, Germany in January 2002. Whilst still in the school, Hayley got the opportunity to perform with the English National Ballet, dancing Swan Lake in the Royal Albert Hall in May 2004.
July 2004 Hayley graduated and started her first contract with the Main Franken Theatre in Würzburg. After working there for a year, she then moved the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf from 2005-2009. In August 2009 Hayley joined Theatre Hagen and worked there until August 2014.
After many years travelling the world performing she decided that it’s time for a change and pass her love and passion on to children by doing the Professional Dancers Teachers Diploma at The RAD in London and qualified with her Registered Teachers Status.
Clare is a classically trained ballet dancer for the Royal Ballet School. A serious injury prevented her from pursuing a career in ballet. Clare has many years experience of teaching adults of all ages and abilities, helping them to to enjoy dancing and to gain strength, confidence and technique.
Clare performs at Covent Garden in the Royal Ballet Company’s production of The Nutcracker, in which she plays the Housekeeper.
Paul trained at The Dance School of Scotland and Doreen Bird College of Performing Arts. Paul was a member of Scottish Ballet from 1998 to 2003. He danced Principal roles including Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, the title role in Aladdin and performed in a variety of classical and contemporary repertoire including works by Sir Kenneth MacMillan, Sir Frederick Ashton, Peter Darrell, Hans Van Manen and Robert North.
Excitingly, Paul has also performed in the West End in Mary Poppins, Cats, Top Hat, Love Never Dies, Oliver!,The Ha’Penny Bridge, The Snowman, Follies (in concert), Children Will Listen ( Sondheim concert), Broadway to West End (concert), Barbara Cook and Friends (concert).
Paul is an experience teacher; having taught at The Urdang Academy, London Studio Centre, Pineapple Dance, CentralSchool of Ballet and many more.
